The Gold Matcha Firming Mask Of Our Dreams

Gold Matcha Mask via Elemental Energy

Matcha, a high-quality green tea powder, has proven to pack quite the powerful punch. Containing more antioxidants and caffeine than regular green tea, Matcha has been known to enhance mood, provide a boost of energy, and create a calm relaxed alertness while supplying an abundance of antioxidants and minerals that work together to fight the damaging effects of free radicals. Not only has Matcha become our go-to favorite drink, but has also a staple in our DIY skincare regimen. These same benefits that we enjoy from within can also be used to treat some of our most common skincare concerns. recipe courtesy of Elemental Energy: Crystal and Gemstone Rituals For A Beautiful Life

This Gold Matcha treatment is ideal for aging skin, since it combines the regenerative aspects of gold with the antioxidant power of matcha, which keeps skin plumped and hydrated while fighting against the negative effects of UV radiation. Honey is also a key player. In addition to its antifungal, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory properties, the sweet nectar also contains gluconic acid, which is known to brighten dull skin, Consider having a cup of matcha while the mask is on your face— the polyphenols it contains have been tied to protection against heart disease and cancer as well as blood pressure reduction and antiaging.
